(NEWSER) – Congressional Republicans have been taking their lumps in recent polls, and now President Obama can feel their pain. In a new poll by the Wall Street Journal andNBC, the president's approval rating has fallen to an all-time low of 42%. That's down 5 points from earlier this month as he deals with fallout from the ObamaCare rollout, NSA spying, and the government shutdown. Also, for the first time, more Americans have a negative view of Obama (45%) than a positive one (41%). Overall, 51% disapprove of his job as president, which ties his previous high. (Today's hecklers would surely agree.) Still, Republicans fared worse, with only 22% viewing the party favorably.
