Richland County authorities say they've arrested a man wanted for attempted murder following a domestic dispute this week.

Sheriff Leon Lott says 23-year-old James Galloway and his estranged girlfriend were involved in an argument Thursday morning in the 3300 block of Broad River Road.

The sheriff says when a female friend stepped into to assist, Galloway shoved her out of the way.

And Lott says when two men try to intervene, Galloway shot both of them.

The sheriff says both were seriously wounded, but are recovering.

He says Galloway fled to a relative's home in Aiken County and was taken into custody there.
