Richland County authorities say they've arrested one of two suspects in the theft of a large number of lottery tickets from a convenience store in Blythewood.

Sheriff Leon Lott says 19-year-old Troy Belton is charged with burglary, larceny and possession of burglary tools.

Investigators say surveillance video shows Belton and another person stealing an undetermined amount of South Carolina Education Lottery scratch-off tickets at the Blythewood Stop and Shop on Wilson Boulevard about 3:30 the morning of August 8th.

The video shows one of the suspect wearing a backpack, and they fled on foot after grabbing the lottery tickets.

Authorities are still trying to track down the second suspect.
