An argument over a missing bottle of liquor has left a Sumter man dead.
Sumter County sheriff's deputies found the body of 26-year-old Shamarr Howell on the front porch of a home along Murphy Street around 11 o'clock Tuesday night.
Investigators say Howell was arguing with 50-year-old Jeffrey Andrews (pictured) over the missing brandy when the men got into a fistfight.
Andrews says he ordered Howell to leave his place several times and shot him when he refused.
Andrews is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
