FOREST ACRES, S.C. (AP/WVOC) - Police have arrested a man they say was driving a car that landed on top of a Columbia home after a high-speed chase.

31-year-old Antwon Ashley faces charges that include reckless driving, hit-and-run with property damage, trafficking crack cocaine and littering.

Early Saturday, an officer says he noticed what looked like a drug deal involving a car that did not have headlights on.

Police say the suspect did not stop for the officer's blue lights and sirens, sped away and landed on top of a home in Forest Acres along Grace Hill Road.

They say Ashley fled but left behind crack cocaine and cash.

No one inside the home was hurt.
