(Washington, DC)  --  President Obama is receiving a last minute, stopgap highway funding bill, and it's just in time for South Carolina highways.  The American Road & Transportation Builders Association reports nearly 11-percent of Palmetto State bridges are in poor condition.  U.S. Senators approved 11-billion dollars in funding to keep about six-thousand highway and transit projects across the nation going through next May.  Experts at the University of South Carolina tell WLTX many of the state's roads were built in the 1950's and are now suffering from corrosion and heavy traffic.
