(Undated)  --  A massive number of patients at eight South Carolina hospitals are now the victims of a cyber attack.

The online thieves targeted Carolina Pines in Hartsville, Mary Black in Spartanburg, Springs Memorial in Lancaster, Carolinas Hospital in Florence and Marion, Chester Regional, Marlboro Park, Chesterfield General, and Springs Memorial in Lancaster.

The suspects got away with the names, addresses, phone numbers, and Social Security numbers of patients from the last five years.  It's believed the breach happened between April and June of this year.
