ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP/WVOC) - Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says there will be no charges filed against a 23-year-old woman who shot and killed her boyfriend during a domestic dispute last weekend.

Ravenell says the woman feared for her life when she shot 24-year-old Jeremy Williamson in North early Sunday morning.

The sheriff says Williamson dragged the woman into a house and punched her in the head.

She got a gun and Williamson charged at her.  The gun fired, hitting the boyfriend in the stomach.

He died several hours later at the hospital.
