Ever hear your phone ring just once?

It may be part of a scam trying to get your money.

The Better Business Bureau warns that scammers have computers call random phone numbers and hang up after one ring.

They hope you'll check the missed call and dial that number back.

But returning the call can cost you a $20 international calling fee, plus a charge of $9 per minute.

Investigators believe the calls are coming from the Caribbean Islands, using area codes that include 268, 284, 473, 809 and 876.

The BBB says if you think you're a victim of the “One Ring” phone scam, you should immediately contact your phone service provider and then monitor your phone bill.
