(Clemson, SC)  --  Another South Carolina college is jacking up the price of tuition.  The Clemson University Board of Trustees agreed Wednesday on a nearly three-percent tuition hike starting this fall.

That's about 200-dollars more per semester for in-state students and just under 500-dollars more for out-of-state students.  It's expected to cover the cost of mandatory payroll, retirement and health insurance cost increases.
