The woman found dead of multiple stab wounds in her West Columbia home late Tuesday afternoon, been identified as 31-year old Lindsey Nicole Lee.
The body of Lee, a Sheriff's Department civilian employee was discovered in her Haleywood Lane home, after deputies responded to a call to perform a welfare check.
Sheriff Jay Koon has removed himself from this investigation to avoid any conflict of interest.
