A tax battle is brewing between officials with the city of Cayce and Lexington County leaders, over a tax increment funding plan.
The original agreement, in place since 1998, involves a large section of the city land on both sides of Blossom Street near the Congaree River and south along Knox Abbott Drive.
Cayce leaders want to extend the plan - some County council members are against it.
