The disappearance then 17 year old Brittanee Drexel, missing since April of 2009, may be connected to Friday's arrest of four Columbia men in Georgetown County.
Da'shun Curry, Ryan Turner, Howard Parker and Kerry Taylor were taken into custody by U.S. Marshals. Each is being accused of working with others, to force minors and women older than 18, into the commercial sex trade.
No formal charges are listed for their arrests.
Authorities are keeping tight-lipped about a possible link, but jailhouse informants told police Drexel was kidnapped, sexually assaulted, and trafficked before she was killed.
