Man Pleads Guilty To Sex Trafficking

Alshura Tabil Annessa Frazier of Columbia has pleaded guilty in federal court to sex trafficking of children, use of a firearm and drug trafficking.

The crimes came to light after a car chase by a Richland County deputy two years ago for a minor moving violation. During that chase, a girl jumped out with a box, and was apprehended in the woods.

In the box, a 10-mm Glock pistol, cocaine, crack cocaine and a substance suspected to be the recreational drug, "molly."

The minor female told a story of forced prostitution, drugs and abuse, while traveling back and forth between North and South Carolina. Frazier's case will be reviewed before his sentencing.
