Details Emerge In Killing of Four Inmates

He's been a coroner for almost 40 years, but what happened inside a prison last week is something he says he's never seen.

Two inmates at the Kirkland Correctional Institute in Richland County are accused of luring four inmates into a cell and killing them.

Convicted killers Jacob Philip and Denver Simmons have confessed but did not reveal a motive.

Coroner Gary Watts says the inmates were killed by strangulation, with a source telling "The State" it was with an electrical cord.
