Myrtle Beach City Leaders Looking To Stop The Violence

Following the recent shooting on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach, city leaders are working to combat violence.

Residents and city officials met to discuss ideas like using tourism dollars to hire more police officers and using local business' surveillance video on the city's security system.

Governor Henry McMaster is expected to visit with law enforcement on Friday to discuss more ways to increase security for Myrtle Beach.

These talks come after Myrtle Beach police responded to four shootings over the course of two days.
