Gamecock Sindarius Thornwell heard his name called in last night’s NBA Draft. The Milwaukee Bucks originally selected Thornwell in the 2nd round, then traded Thornwell to the LA Clippers. Thornwell’s the first Gamecock to be drafted since 2006.
Thornwell’s USC teammate, PJ Dozier, did not get drafted last night. But ESPN reports Dozier will sign a free agent deal with the LA Lakers.
