Sumter police are continuing to investigate an incident where a woman with three children in the car ending up driving into a retention pond.
The pond is off of North Wise Drive, between Dillon Park and Dillon Trace Apartments.
First responders rescued the victims, and transported them to a local hospital. Their conditions are not known.
