Some members of Greenville County's Legislative Delegation think a hospital partnership violates state antitrust laws.
Greenville Health System and Palmetto Health announced that they were partnering up. Members of the delegation are asking the attorney general to investigate because they think this partnership means some residents won't have access to healthcare from any other health system.
The Federal Trade Commission will need to evaluate whether the partnership has an impact on competition.
