Camden High School Boosters Criticized For Buying New Scoreboard

A new video board for a Kershaw County school is either a wise investment or wasteful spending depending on who you listen to.

County school leaders recently voted to loan boosters 90-thousand dollars to install the board at Camden High School's football field.  The Camden Bulldog Club believes it can pay back the loan in eight years through ad revenue, but critics don't see how.

The Kershaw County Citizens for Limited Government tells WIS-TV six home games a year won't be enough to generate the revenue needed to pay off the loan in that amount of time.
