Bill Calls For Ban On Sagging Pants

(Columbia, SC)  --  Some South Carolinians could be fined over their taste in fashion.

A bill filed last week in the House calls for a ban on low-hanging pants.

Those who keep their pants sagging too far below their belly button could face fines and the loss of financial aid at state colleges and universities.

Ten lawmakers from both parties are sponsoring the bill, which was referred to the Judiciary Committee.
