Richland County Council Again Votes To Remove County Administrator

(Columbia, SC)  --  A Richland County official appears unlikely to get his job back.

The county council voted yesterday 6-5 to suspend with pay County Administrator Gerald Seals.

Yesterday's vote came in a special meeting in which the commission read off the reasons for their decision.

While Seals was present, members told him he acted several times without their approval, fired employees without due process, and fell asleep during council meetings.
