(Lexington, SC) -- A Snapchat message is at the heart of what police call a complex case involving Lexington Middle School.
A post on Snapchat this week threatened violence at the school, and that led to a heavier than usual police presence at the school yesterday.
No incidents were reported, but the investigation is ongoing. Police will continue to have a visible presence at the school until an arrest is made and the investigation comes to an end.
