(Columbia, SC) -- As some are still rebuilding from Hurricane Florence, Hurricane Michael is approaching.
The National Hurricane Center said yesterday it expects the storm to hit the state tomorrow or Thursday as a Tropical Storm.
As of 8am this morning Michael was a Category 2 storm and is expected to become a major Category 3 before making landfall.
Up to three inches of rain are expected along with strong winds, thunderstorms and maybe a tornado.
The good news is that the storm will move quicker than Florence and should be gone by Thursday night.
