Former Ambassador Mentions Gowdy As Possible AG

(Undated) -- As President Trump looks for a new attorney general, he might take a glance at some qualified candidates in South Carolina.

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham has said he does not want the job, but Greenville's David Wilkins, who was once an ambassador, thinks former Congressman Trey Gowdy would be a good pick.

Wilkins tells the Greenville News Gowdy repeatedly showed his legal skills while working on House investigation committees, but Gowdy has also said he's not interested.
