Former School Official Pleads Guilty To Harassment

(Columbia, SC) -- A former Lexington County school official is being punished for an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Former Airport High School Assistant Principal Dawn Dimmler pleaded guilty last week in Richland County to second degree harassment.

The 43-year-old was accused of having sex at the school last year with a 19-year-old student, and she was fired ten months ago.

She was given a 30-day sentence and ordered to pay a 200-dollar fine, but she still faces charges in Lexington County.
