A man is dead after getting hit by a car while riding his bicycle in Richland County.
Columbia's Marcus Anderson was riding his bike Saturday night in Hopkins on Lower Richland Boulevard when he was hit. Anderson was taken to the hospital, where the 30-year-old passed away from blunt force injuries to his head and neck.
The driver was not hurt, and no charges have been announced.
