(Columbia, SC) -- The effects of Hurricane Dorian could be destructive and even deadly.
That's the warning Governor Henry McMaster issued yesterday as the storm approaches the coast.
He says Dorian could cause dramatic flash flooding on the coast thanks to heavy rain and storm surge.
At last count yesterday, over 400 coastal residents had moved into one of 20 emergency shelters.
