(Columbia, SC) -- Governor McMaster wants South Carolina taxpayers to get another rebate check this year.
It's part of his Executive Budget for this fiscal year, which he submitted yesterday.
The state has a one-point-eight-billion dollar windfall from unexpected revenue.
McMaster says he wants to give money back to the taxpayers through a tax cut, retirement income exemptions for military veterans and first responders, and a taxpayer rebate.
