South Carolina Senate To Limit Further Debate On Education Bill

(Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina lawmakers will now be limiting debate on a bill set to overhaul public education.

It's been in a special place on the Senate calendar since the start of this legislative session, meaning it will be debated before any other proposal.

After seven weeks, a 25 to 17 vote yesterday will limit further discussion.

Debate on any additional amendments will be limited to twenty minutes total.
