South Carolina Cities Rank On List Of Top 30 Coronavirus Hotspots In U.S.

(Columbia, SC) -- Several South Carolina regions are on the top 30 coronavirus hotspots in the country. 

The Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Tracker combines Columbia, Orangeburg, and Newberry... with the area ranking number 11 on the list. 

This comes after they had 883 new cases of COVID-19 in the past week. 

The Charlotte area was number 12, and the combination of Greenville, Spartanburg, and Anderson came in at number 13. The Myrtle Beach area was fourth on the Johns Hopkins list.
