Tourism Data Shows Downward Trend For Myrtle Beach This Year

(Myrtle Beach, SC) -- Tourism data shows numbers are down along the Grand Strand. 

Coastal Carolina University research shows Myrtle Beach hotels at 87-percent occupancy from July 12th through the 18th in 2019. 

For the same week this year, it was 57-percent. 

Weekend numbers are higher but still down from last year.
