(Columbia, SC) -- New unemployment claims are down in South Carolina.
The Department of Employment and Workforce says four-thousand-933 people filed their initial claim for unemployment insurance last week.
That's down by 650 claims from the week before.
Still, since March, the total number of initial claims has gone up to 744-thousand-576 in the Palmetto state.
