(Columbia, SC) -- There is new data on coronavirus cases in South Carolina schools and at the University of South Carolina.
DHEC reports there are a total of 1,277 cases at public and private K-12 schools in the state. Of those, 906 are students and 371 are employees.
At the University of South Carolina, there are a total of 42 active cases as of yesterday involving 32 students and ten employees.
