USC Working To Expand Rapid Saliva-Based Testing For COVID-19

(Columbia, SC) -- The University of South Carolina is expanding rapid saliva-based coronavirus testing.

They will be using around five-point-three-million dollars in CARES Act funding to bring the testing to other colleges and universities in the state.

The initiative is also funded by an almost 17-million-dollar grant from South Carolina. USC will work with Clemson University, DHEC, and The Medical University of South Carolina to expand testing.
