South Carolina Officials Preparing For COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution

(Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina officials are preparing for COVID-19 vaccine distribution.

DHEC says the Pfizer and BioNTech vaccine could get emergency use authorization as early as December 10th.

If that's the case, vaccine distribution sites in the Palmetto state could get their first shipment as early as December 14th.

The first vaccines will go to healthcare workers and residents of long-term care facilities.
