There are 682 long-term care facilities in the Palmetto state that will get COVID-19 vaccines through CVS. That work is supposed to begin on December 28th.

Vaccines began for frontline healthcare workers on December 14th.

The Department of Health and Environmental Control announced 2,121 new cases yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 255,210 since the pandemic began.

DHEC also reported 21 more deaths, for a state total of 4,587. Three of those deaths date back to November, but DHEC says the majority of them happened in the past seven days.
