Lexington Medical Center Allowing Visitors, With Restrictions

(West Columbia, SC) -- Lexington Medical Center is revising its visitor restrictions.

Starting yesterday, one visitor per patient per day is allowed in inpatient hospital rooms for those who do not have the coronavirus. This change comes after visitors have not been permitted since January 19th.

Non-COVID patients in the ER can have one visitor and pregnant women can have a spouse or support person in them during labor, delivery, and their postpartum stay.

No visitors under age 18 are allowed and all visitors need to be screened before entering and wear masks.
