(Columbia, SC) -- A bill that would legalize medical marijuana is passed out of the Senate Medical Affairs Committee. Yesterday's vote was 9 to 5.
Bill sponsor Senator Tom Davis says he has enough votes to get the bill passed in the South Carolina Senate.
Its proposed legislation would allow people with PTSD, autism, cancer, epilepsy, and other debilitating medical conditions to purchase medical marijuana with doctor approval.
