A boil water order is in effect for part of South Carolina's capital city.
Columbia Water is asking customers on Park Street between College and Greene streets to boil their water before drinking it or cooking with it. That's because of a 12-inch water main break which could have caused bacterial contamination.
The utility is still working to fix the problem.
