Richland School District Two Changes Security Protocols For Athletic Events

Richland School District Two is making some updates to its security protocols after the fight at a high school football game Friday.

To get into athletic events without a parent or guardian, high school students will need to enter through a student gate and will now need a ticket and their student ID. Entry gates will then close at the end of halftime and no one else will be admitted.

A few other changes include the concession stands closing at the end of the third quarter and there will no longer be any congregating or standing on the concourse or near concession stands during the game.
