Student Facing Charges For Allegedly Pulling Out Knife At School

(Columbia, SC) -- A Columbia student is accused of pulling out a knife during a fight at school. 

The 14-year-old was allegedly fighting with two other students when she displayed the weapon at Richland Northeast High School. 

She's now charged with assault, battery, and carrying a weapon on school property. 

Officials say a school resource officer stopped the incident and the teen was booked into the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center's juvenile wing.
