(Colleton County, SC)- Alex Murdaugh is admitting to lying to investigators after his wife and son were killed in June of 2021.
The former lawyer took the stand in his double murder trial Thursday in a Colleton County courtroom.
Murdaugh acknowledged he was at the property where Maggie and Paul's bodies were found, and said he lied to police earlier because he was paranoid from his drug addiction.
Murdaugh continued to deny any involvement in the shooting deaths of his wife and son.
