South Carolina Lawmakers In Session To Debate Six Week Abortion Ban

(Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina lawmakers are back at the State House to debate a six-week abortion ban.

House legislators are now considering around one-thousand amendments to the measure passed by the Senate.

Republicans plan to stay in session until a bill can be passed, but House Democrats said Tuesday that they will not give up on the filed amendments.

Debate is expected to continue today.
