(Columbia, SC) - The defense lawyer for a convicted murderer is planning to petition for a sentence reduction hearing.
Jeriod Price was released from his 35-year sentence 16 years early in March.
The South Carolina Supreme Court vacated the order that reduced Price's sentence, requiring him to serve the remainder of the time.
Now, Price's lawyer says he plans to petition Fifth Circuit Solicitor Byron Gipson for another sentence reduction hearing.
