(Irmo, SC) -- The Lexington County Sheriff's Department is investigating reports of a student bringing a weapon to school.
The incident happened at Irmo High School on Tuesday.
School officials confiscated a weapon from a student and plan to take disciplinary action against the student.
The school says this has been deemed an isolated incident.
