An executive order from Governor McMaster says that a City of Columbia councilman has been suspended following a domestic violence charge.
Councilman Moe Baddourah has been indicted on a second degree domestic violence charge.
Baddourah has spoken out against the suspension in a statement, saying he does not believe it serves the public interest.
