Bogus 911 calls have been tying up the Lexington County communication center for weeks, and the sheriff has had enough.
Most of the 57 calls have originated in the St. Andrews Road area, and have reported burglaries, shootings, and robberies - all phony. A woman appears to be making them.
These calls tie up the emergency response system, and are a tremendous drain on the county resources. That investigation continues.
