A late afternoon industrial accident in Cayce has taken the life of 25-year old Corey Morris, a welder, from Murrells Inlet.
Morris was on the job as a sub-contractor for CMC Metals on New State Road. The Cayce Dept. of Public Safety responded to the call just after 5 yesterday afternoon. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police and company officials are investigating.
