Bruce Dyer has been identified by the state Dept. of Natural Resources as the operator of the 32 foot powerboat that collided with a smaller bass boat late Friday night on Lake Murray.
Danny Phillips and Shawn Lanier, who both worked at the Phillips' wildlife business, died of blunt force trauma as a result of the accident.
DNR continues to investigate the deadly accident. So far no charges have been filed.
